"My AI is amazing at trading stocks."
So is a coin-flipping monkey.

Our eight monkeys trade every day. Each flips a three-sided coin: buy, sell or hold. Every buy is a random stock from the market's recent winners. Real prices, eight months and counting. No research, no news, no thoughts. Just momentum and a coin.

Don't be fooled by randomness. See methodology →

METHODOLOGY : every monkey is a computer simulation managing $100,000 of paper money. Once per trading day since 25 November 2025, each flips a fair three-sided coin: buy, sell or hold. A buy invests a random 5 to 12% of the portfolio in a stock drawn at random from the market's recent winners: the top quarter of our 89-stock US large-cap universe by trailing 3-month return. That is the entire strategy. A sell closes the monkey's position in a randomly chosen stock, if it owns it. A hold does nothing. Long only, no leverage, no news, no data beyond past prices. Portfolios are marked to real, dividend-adjusted market prices, refreshed daily. There are exactly eight monkeys, on fixed random seeds 1 to 8, chosen before we saw a single result; every trade they have ever made is in the trade log and reproducible from the seed. When we ran 10,000 monkeys like these against a real AI trading leaderboard, the median monkey beat half the AI models, and 4 in 10 random 8-monkey leaderboards produced a champion above +68%.
